I noticed that they use in the orignal maps a texture called black for elevators? They surround the elevator whith it but does anyone why they do it? and they use a func_static instead of a func_elevator? Or is this only with elevators @ the start of a level

black is just a texture with black on it. Not a special texture other than that. Perhaps they did it to avoid reflective light or something.
