K3 Mod v1.11



Simply put Kill3r included coding in his new mod script that allows him and most likely other people with the means to acquire (steal) the rcon password from any server running his mod.

This is SIMPLY unacceptable.

As if this was not bad enough he has also included a previously unknown aimbot hack that is undetectable (at this time) by punkbuster.

AGAIN, this is SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE by us here at Codutility.com and hopefully by all of our members.

Kill3r's actions in this have resulted in him having all his material found on CodUtility to be removed. We have also banned him from CodUtility.

Understand us, this is the most despicable coding that most of us have ever seen. When confronted with the allegations at the IW and the RGN forums Kill3r showed little or no remorse for his actions. He has also been banned from RGN.

At this time key players in the industry have taken it on themselves to investigate this matter further to hopefully uncover just how far spread this issue has spread. If others besides Kill3r are involved in this then hopefully they are ferreted out and punished accordingly.

We have offered the full cooperation of this site to get the word out to the community and to do whatever else we can to minimize the damage the fallout from this malicious coding contained in the mod.

Understand that anyone using this mod or maps that may contain the hack in any form or manner face the very real potential of being banned permantly by Punkbuster.

Understand that any material, maps or mods, found to contain any malicious coding will be removed from this site and the author will be banned from here.

Any information that is turned up at other sites will be provided here and anything that we come up with will be shared with other sites as well.

The community MUST rally together at this time like we never have before. This is some very SERIOUS stuff and none of this should be taken lightly by anyone.

It is our view that if anyone who reads this warning should not assume anything and immediately remove any of Kill3r's material from their personal computer and servers.

Neither him nor his mod has been banned by punkbuster- he has been banned by PBbans. Not all PB servers stream there.

But the main point of the post was about not about whether he has been banned by one group or another, it was to warn people of the possible consequences of using his mod.

the aimbot basically set the players angles to another player, was used to that the bots face me while testing

as for stealing part... well, all it does it tell me the rcon password

you can NOT be banned by PB for using the mod

also i got banned from the forums before i could say anything :/

Is this information true? If so it's quite disapointing as i have seen .KiLL3R. around here for a while now.

yes, i could have taken out the scripts, but i didnt see the point as im the only one that could use them but i would have done if others could use them

as for the rcon thing, thats just something i added in, no intension of damaging stuff or anything, its just there

dude... RGN really exadurate things... they where saying my mod had viruses and that if you had the mod you would be banned by PB... wtf
PB can not ban a mod, the scripts used for the stuff are normal cod4 commands, if PB bans those commands then.. well.. a lot of mods will become banned too

I would just ignore the threads Kill3r and don't acknowledge or apologize, probably the best thing you can do as people keep spinning and twisting the stuff you say.

Just keep modding for fun and do whatever you do.

I'd wait a while to appeal your ban with PBBans and come up with a solid defense case, if you want to go that route.

I never download them mod but the main ? is WHY
WHY u add the backdoor to steal the rcon pass.
And yes i saw that you was ban from there i gone there a read it. I suprized your not ban from every modding site.
lest just say you forgot to remove the the aimbot ok simple problem easy fix. But you did nothing about the rcon and you knew yea hade it in the mod and you say your not useing it well their is always a reson to add anything to a map or a mod. The saying goes if yea dont need it dont add it unless you plan to use it. I would not be suprized that ppl start looking into his maps aswell.
Great MODDERS & Scripters are hard to come by. Why would even try to mess it up if yea injoy doing it. Leaves a bad tast in ppl mouths and ppl begine to not trust this person and however stands behind them.

Also in respect to kill3rs case if you request it then i will lock this thread to prevent any flaming. Just say the word.
