Hi guys...

I cant remember the basic way to get around this, but ages ago redrum helped me:

COD rad crashes everytime i load after a complile...

I'm scared of doing anything/much in regedit! so can you guys help me: what do i delete from the registry? the whole CODradiant folder?? I rember that this made it work... (sorry its been ages... maybe a year, and I gave up cause it sucked... I'd still like to make a little map for the contest, even if I cant get my head around all the game types etc in time --> should be fun :)

whilst annoying, I can cope with this i guess... I do know that redrum had this problem too, and did something to fix it for good... any help'd be great :)... thanks...

(P.S. surely this isnt "helping" a contestant too much!! haha)

the answer is posted in the FAQ...but here it is again

close radiant

open regedit and search for codradiant (edit --> find)
in the left hand panel it will find a folder called codradiant...right click it and delete

close the registry editor

reopen radiant and locate your qe3 file in tools/bin [angryalien]

Those unpredictable mapping gods that have smited me on so many occasions seem to be raining down good fortune upon me... not once have I had to redo the qe4 file... this is strange since it always died after each time I left the program or compiled... or whatever... any way:

yay! That was the sole reason that I never mapped for COD... so now I can :)
