Is there a certian way I can change the files to the Gmax format to view the Xmodel animations in the tools folder? And btw If I use Gmax I heard someone tell me there is no rendering.What does that do to effect game play im a noob [wink] .Well If they cant be changed over to the Gmax format Ill talk my friend into giving me a copy of his 3ds7.

No you can't change the models to gmax version, but their should be a plugin to import for Gmax so you can see the .model_exports in the Tools folder which IW/GMI supply.

Rendering=Nice way of displaying your models in the model program so you can really show off your model. Doesn't affect the model what soever in-game or out of game - rendering is just to show others your model.

And see if you can get ahold of a 3ds5 trial since the plugin in the Tools folder ONLY works with 3ds5.
