is the hurt thing, making an invisible ehh platform, click on trigger hurt, press n and key dmg value 100?
2 other questions: - how can you let two textures fit? like on a corner? And how can you move the textures without moving the object? because when i move my object, the texture moves too0
one more: how can i make it darker, because in whole my map it's light. and i want it dark in some places.
And how to select where blue and where red starts?
lol, i'm working on map and i keep finding new questions :)

set damage to anything 100 or higher should be instant death, not certain exact key/value off hand.
You can nudge a texture (shift+arrow key) or you can unlock textures = textures menu > texture lock > moves (on/off)
To "fit" a texture use the surface inspector (press the s key for brushes, shift+s for patches)
Now that you mention your map is fullbright, your last posts answer is your compiling without the -light phase!
red and blue "start" are spawn points, you need as many as players there will be. email me (pleasemyob@gmail.com) and I'll reply with a bunch of prefabs in a ZIP file for you to use/look at including the CTF and INF triggers. |

What's the invisible not shootable tool? nodraw???
nodraw, you put it on the faces of a brush that you don't want the game drawing, but MOST of the time you would use caulk instead. (If your not using detail brushes this is a pointless function)
There's a few shootables, but I don't have any non-shootables, I'm not sure if the gold patch is installed to the mod folder im using right now, but you can get the details from the *.shader file. In GTK you shift+click on the texture to open it's *.shader, not sure if SDK does that.
Also, If your not using GTK, I recommend you start ( 1.4 raven) |
