Well, after a bit of consideration, I'm going to try to finish the map I had started, but after that, I'm pretty much finished with SOF2 mapping and will probably disappear from the site until UT2K3 comes out.

All in all, I just don't think making the maps for SOF2 is very fun...I can't explain it. Perhaps it's just that the game seemed SO fun when I first started playing it, but, upon further consideration and examination, it's kind of flat and just not (from a mapping standpoint) FUN to build for. Props to the Man Down mod for adding in all the stuff that should have been there in the first place.

A **HUGE** thanks to all of you here on the boards -- you're a great bunch of folks, and I learned a lot about Q3 engine mapping from ya'll. Foyleman, this is an awesome site, and definately the most helpful I've ever been to in terms of learning how to map -- from the basics, to the complex.

I'll still check back now and then, and will answer and P.M.'s or email -- but postboard wise, will probably remain a lurker until the next UT.

Take it easy everyone!

I am sad to see such a value of the community here leave, but I do understand your view. We will miss you around here.

I hope to see you when ut2k3 comes around. I expect to see your nick pop up in these forums at least once. ;)

In the mean time, enjoy your time on other projects until the next big thing comes along.
