When I start my map, the weapon menu then blends in with the map backround and its really blurry, and i can't move. Please help? P.S.- Is it because of skybox?

if you can spawn it's probably the skybox that's wrong. If you can't spawn check you have a deathmatch_intermission and a deathmatch_spawn

Probably there is a leak in your skybox or you did not set a texture on your skybox surface (left it caulk, thus invisible).
