I was wandering what are the choices for modeling for CoD like making new weapons ect. Besides 3dsmax is there any that are free? I looked but I dint see any support for CoD on milkshake... I was wondering if any of you guys can help me find one. well thankyou

ok first lets establish that 3dsmax is NOT free. It is a professional program that some crapheads posted on the internet to spite the company that made it. You can make a model in any program (so long as it is polygon based) and then convert the model file into whatever format CoD uses (I believe it is .mdl ?). Thats all I know.

Sorry I ment to say I was wanting a modeling progam that is free. But is there any good ones? that you guys would reccondmend? -Johny

well is essence the idea of 'free' elminates all good modeling programs. I would assume however that milkshape would be able to make the models you want. Otherwise spend 10,000 bucks and buy softimageX and start making some Jurrasic Park dinosaurs.
