So. Here is what I have done. I used the r_fullbright 1 command. This is a not-nearly-finished corner of my map. I deleted the rest of it and made this a seperate map for fast compile time more or less.

So, Even on my full version, I have some problems. On my full version I have not put in any real light work yet. No scripting at all even yet.

There is a blue circle with funky lines down the screen. Sometimes when I load even my grenades explode in a rainbow. But my sniper rifle looks just fine when it fires. No odd colours.

Also, following the tutorial in the CoD4 section on making arches. I came up with

Any way to get the center texture to not stretch? Also, mabye a bit more of a curve look to it? Probably have to add vertices or something?
Now I didn't mess around too much with the arches as far as what it exactly looks like. I just am aiming for it being smoother. I am looking to make something similar to the one in my next screenshot here, at the map "crossfire"

To get your texture for the arch straight just try shift+ctrl+n a few times.
This might make it look better.

As for the arch being smooth i think you can only create that by making it bigger.

Cause if you just make an arch by patching it with end cap, it will not look good if the arch is small.

ow for the texture if that doesnt work you can always just press "S" and press natural.

For the blue stuff i have no idea, do you have reflection probes in your map?

to make the arch smoother, select it and press Shift + ] to increase or Shift + [ to decrease
