IS there a way I can get cod4 Radiant multi monitor to work multi monitor like put the 3D view in one monitor and just leave all the other crap in another monitor.?

This is worse than valves editor I think I’ve used is are there any alternatives?

Yes, just make sure your monitors are in "SPAN" mode in the video options for your computer.

Then expand the window to start on one monitor and and end on the other side of the left monitor. Move the middle dividers as needed to put things where you want them. I advise making your 2D large and making the 3D smaller, however, because it will render really slowly otherwise.

In addition, you can go into preferences and change things into detached mode, but I find that mode annoying, to be honest.

I use the detached method and have it across two monitors. It's annoying to set up like that but registry remembers your settings so every time you boot up Radiant it's set up for you on two monitors.

Detached mode is great for multiple monitors. I find it much easier. :)

I had to not have radiant in fullscreen, and expand it into my second monitor, and then manually drag and expand all the windows to get it to work, is that the way you guys all did it?

That is one way of doing it yes when using the detached mode. You should only have to do it once, save anything in radiant, then close and re-open radiant to make sure your settings are stored.
