k soo heres the deal. i made a map. i cant seem to get it to work. im willing to give it to someone to help finish it. i just want to be able to go ingame and take some quick screenshots.

and continue my work and make it look goregous.

Ok, first off you need to compile your map. Find the program in your Bin/CoD4CompileTools folder called CoD4CompileTools.exe. When you open that you will see preferences tab. Go to the level compiling tab. There you should see your map name in the first white box.

Click on it and check the 3 boxes on the right (Compile BSP, Compile Lighting, and Connect paths). Find the little button below that called Light Options and click on it. You will see another menu. Check the boxes Fast and No Model Shadow.

Click the button named 1.Compile BSP

Once that is done click the button named 3.Build Fast File.

Next, click 4.Update Zone File. A window will come up. Everything that is in the left side copy to the right side. Hit Update at the bottom.

You should be able to run your map now!
