k soo i just started mapping. and the roofs seem to be my problem. making the peak equal and making a church roof top. the triangle one for the bell tower.. anyone got help?

For peaked roofs you will want to use the Clipper tool (X). If you would like to see how to use the clipper tool check out these links! Simple Explanation A Few Video Tutorials The clipper tool is good for many things. Mostly good for making triangles and such. Hope this help!

You can also minipulate a brush, similar to a patch by pressing 'E' and dragging the blue dots. Only problem is you will always be left with a flat area because two blue dots cant occupy the same space.
