press CTRL+F to fit your texture to the brush (you may play around with the functions in the surface inspector under the S-key) or use SHIFT+CTRL+N to rotate through patch meshes' texture fitting if this object is a patch and you 'capped' it (you'll find the cycle texture function in the menu 'patch' - 'cap' - 'cycle cap texture').

Hi there SW, you are not alone! this has happened to me many times. Just about every time I have had to remake the whole brush.
Its a pain but thats all I can offer you.
Sometimes you may get away with just redoing the texture, Select all the surface of the wall, click on your required texture, press "s" then "fit". Try that first eh!
Good luck
