i'd like to have a flashlight mod or something similar to go with the map i'm working on. i came across this short video and this is exactly what i'm looking for or something very close. headlamp mod video does anyone know if this mod exists? or how difficult it would be to reproduce?

Is this just playing an fx on tag from the player orgin? I need some help on this too

Well I don't know it exactly but it look like he is spawning an entity(FX entity or light entity) and then uses the linkTo script on the player, wish means it will follow him like a dog I'm sorry but I don't know how the linkTo exactly works but I'll take a look into the script for you, however I can't promise anything!! edited on Aug. 7, 2009 03:25 pm by scillman
