hi, i have made a few custom wood floor textures which look great in photoshop but when i get them into the game as the player moves across them there is a bothersome distortion wave which moves with the player. i thought perhaps it was the amount of detail in my wood texture, it is from a photograph, so i simplified it to reduce detail and still i get that distortion wave. any ideas?

you can't really see it in a still photo. it is at its' most annoying when the player moves. i know what it is, it is the game drawing the texture around the player. when i use the stock floor texture the distortion wave is slight but noticeable, but when i use my custom wood floor texture the draw lines are sharp. there is probably no cure, oh well, back to stock textures.
