Has anyone figured-out how the layers work? I don't want to sound negative (too stupid to know how to spell pesimistic correctly), not everyone has experimented with layers (including myself). What if beginners simply shrug this off, only because it envolves layers? Possibly the dumbest notion ever conceived, but, thought I should voice my opinion anyway.

For teams, if you want to sign up, please post in this topic, putting your name and experience with mapping on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being an expert. you can also list a specialty if you want to. I don't see the need to clutter the forums auy more than they already are, but if someone wants, they can make a special sign up topic in the forums. So there isn't any confusion, just make sure you announce it in this topic.

Hmm, i did a tutorial on layers, but it STILL isn't in the tutorials section. Just search the forums for it.

I supply the terrain, alpha blended and ready to go. With foilage and sky box. Then, everyone can put the rest together?? Only 1 catch... You can not delete or alter the terrain.

The entire point of this is, to get people more involved since not everyone can do terrain.

Kind of like a prefab terrain.

hey Wyatt..if you were to do that...would we be able to "cut" the terrain to put building and such into it? Would make it alot more better looking to do it the correct way!

Yes you would be able to do that. Cutting around buildings is fine.
