When ever I click on world spawn it says "Failed to create entry. Can't create an entry with worldspawn." What am I doing wrong? |

Build your map in the following steps.
1. Make your terrain patches from the overhead 2D view. Texture as you see fit. Use vertex mode (V) on your terrain to lift and adjust the vertices to make rolling surfaces. For more complex/detailed terrain, increase the height/width count of your patches.
2. Once you have the terrain, hit N to open your properties window and scroll to the very bottom of the top menu. You should see a value called worldspawn. Go to this page to pick worldspawn settings that mimic a specific map. Adjust them as you see fit. Read the gray menu between the white properties menu and the key-value section to see what the keys are and what their values represent. Each key needs a value, like sunlight has 1.
* If you like, or if your computer can handle it, go to View > Lighting and turn on worldspawn lighting to see your lights real time in the camera view window.
3. Make 6 brushes with the Caulk texture. I prefer making them very thick. Each brush should be a side of the box, where the box is your "world". Make sure all the inside faces of this box seal together. Lastly, select all the inside faces of these boxes as they appear from within your map and cover them all with a specific sky texture. |

alright, so I finally got some light, thank you so much.
But The View>Lighting worldspawn or w/e isn't there, but i'm pretty sure my pc could handle it, I got cod4 and this running at the same time no lag. =] |
