Can someone please explain how to make a wire fence or point me toward a tutorial which i may have missed.I have also done a search but all that brought up was how to make barbed wire and I couldn't find anything in the prefabs .Thanks.

There is a wire fence texture that you can use.

there is a wire fence texture you can use.
just make a brush, simple terrain patch it, rotate it so it stands straight up and apply the wire fence texture.
there are some wire fence poles in the prefabs folder you can use too connect your brushes.

I had the same problem as you.

I use the Decal nodraw tool(in same area as caulk texture) and add a mesh/wire mesh texture to one side of it as it shows both sides when compiled.

After i create a brush the same size and use the Clip Metal Tool so you cannot run throught it and you get the effects of metal when you shoot it..

I use a thin Caulk brush and only texture the two sides of it as the wire fence.
