Hi All,
I "THOUGHT" I was almost done with my first map and I was packaging it up to send it to my Clans server for some testing and online Debugging so I decided to give it one more run through in Radients Run Map Option when I found these two triangular shaped "for lack of a better word" Rips in the parking garage floor, in which you can look through and see under my map almost as if your looking at a brush that has Caulk applied to the top of it. I have had this parking garage placed here since the beginning of this build and have compiled both the BSP and reflections Dozens of times, and this shows up minutes before I ship it out!!! Well I've spent several hours trying to figure out the cause to no avail.
Here's a Pic....HELP PLEASE!!

Ok I guess no pic....I cant figure out how to embed it in here!
Anyhow hopefully I have givin a good enough mental pic to you all.....Oh also one more thing, I made a custom loadscreen for my map and followed the tutorial to a tee, and everything worked, except my image looks like its to big, like its being cut off on both sides or stretched quite a bit...and before anyone asks I did make the image 1024x1024.

If anyone can help with either of these Issues I would forever be in your debt.....OK...OK....Maybe not forever but a little while anyways!

Thanks in advance,
0Gravity

As for your load screen:
I had taken my screen shot with a 1680 x 1050, all I did was resize the image size to 1024 x 1024 it looked bunched up(don't crop it) but it looks fine when the map loads.[pimp]

The rip you mentioned i had a similar problem with one of the buildings i had made was fine for 3 weeks then all of a sudden one day one of the brushes of that building messed up half of it was missing and other half solid.

Checked in the editor and everything looked fine. Deleting the offending brush and replacing it with a new one fixed the problem, never did find out why it happened.

Thanks Posse, but as I said the image is already at 1024x1024 so resizing it to that is not an option.

Hi Slayer,
Did you try the tutorial I linked to above? It seemed to be the best one I've found that deals with the loadscreen.
However you created your loadscreen, did you use the Asset manager to incorperate it into Radient and your map? If not that is probably your issue! One of the Posts/tutorials here on Modsonline walks you through the process of making the loadscreen_mp_.iwi but says nothing about using the asset manager....I guess it's just assumed that us noobs will figure all this out.
One thing I did learn after seeing others yelled at for not searching the forums before posting "Dumb questions that have been answered 1000 times" is that While searching for something for COD4, if you dont find an answer to your question, then do the same search in the Cod and CodUO and Cod2 mapping forums because although there have been some changes in Radient, ALOT of the tutorials and stuff still apply to COD4, Maybe that fact, if it isnt already, should be put in a sticky, I see many people in the forums getting flamed for not searching first...when they did search the cod4 sections, but just didnt know to search the others.

0Gravity,
I understand.
The image you have, was it taken as a screenshot from your computer? If so then it probably wasn't that size(1024 x 1024).
Just use your screenshot, whatever the size and resize the image to 1024 x 1024. If its and image that was cropped to 1024 x 1024 then its going to look funny.

Slayerman165,
It look like your trying to run the map with the tools?
If so, read these posts there is a couple of ways to test your map. One in the tools and the other outside the tools.
Click on link.
