Hi i've been learning to make terrain and have made a cliff top and side with some white objects below on the ground.Trouble is as i move along top of cliff in the editor i can see lines of white through the cliff terrain from the white objects below, these are visible through the lines which connect the vertice points together on the terrain. How do i stop this from happening. Thanks

if u have multiple patches that make up the terrain make sure you weld the adjacent vertices together to make a seemless terrain. select 2 vertice one from each patch that are next to each other then press W.

Also if you have used blending make sure you have both the solid and decal layer selected before doing any changes.

I have two seperate patches but i have already joined them together using w but the lines i can see come from the one single patch directly above the white objects below them,Would using blend on another brush on top on the patch block out any of the lines i can see now. Thanks for replying.

The texture im using is not a decal but this is the one, ch_cliff02 and this is what i can see as i move along

the circled part is the line connecting the vertice point, this is where i see the white lines one of which u shud be able to make out at top of picture. The white line is one of the edges from the object behind although i can see all its edges through different parts of the terrain as i move along (it has multiple edges),sometimes maybe 3 or 4 lines at a time depending on orientation. The cliff wall is jjoined to the floor as i have connected the vertice points together and thats not giving me a problem although i did move the object behind the wall of the cliff to see if it was just the ground part and i then got the same lines in the wall as well as i looked around. Thanks for ur help.
