They are still unselectable? Another technique then.

Cover the whole actor with any bursh [i.e Caulk] and then select the "select inside" button. This should select everything inside and touching the texture.

Also make sure you are not filtering entities. Press 'F' and make sure enitties is ticked.

Try the E button on the same toolbar from earlier. It is a Black E with a red circle and line through it. Make sure it is deselected.

If this doesn't work I will keep looking.

Press CTRL+L and look through the entities that start with actor. There should only be the 1 [the 1 you made]. Click the + button and then click the actor entity name.
Then click select at the bottom of the box.
