Ok so I got a .gsc similar to all the tutorials on these fourum.
including the following lines....

game["allies"] = "marines";
game["axis"] = "opfor";
game["attackers"] = "axis";
game["defenders"] = "allies";
game["allies_soldiertype"] = "woodland";
game["axis_soldiertype"] = "woodland";

So here's the question... When playing/testing my map, why does only the desert skins load? I tried going into my assets, deleteing all my xmodel,------'s to see if that would prompt the correct ones to spawn, added the woodland xmodels and still got the missing asset error. To clarify I am running the game in /dev mode from my compile tools, and have tried running by hosting via the game itself.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The compiler will only use the desert skins for testing. So you have even to add the desert xmodels in your missing assets. For the woodland you need to add "include,mp_types_woodland", too. Then the map would run on a server, too.
