Is there any way you can import a model from "XModel" and break it down into sections are scale it to some degree. My ultimate goal would be to take a pre exsisting model and cut it deviding it into two sections.

Also i was wondering if an XModel can be script, after trying to make a rotate sequence on a fan i came across scripting errors, to later find that the reason was because my model was an "Xmodel" after applying my rotation to a Brush it worked ok.

Thankyou in advance.

Does no body have any inclination to the ability to edit the models withing COD4. I fail to even find an apropriate file type to even begin searching for some method to de compress the models. If anyone has even the slightest idea i would appeciate this massivly. Thankyou

Sorry, once it's in xmodel format it never goes back. You can't even re-import xmodel_exports [sad]
