Thats nothing,
have over 50 hours on my map
custom prefabs, made evrything right, everytime i made a major change, i would change my map name to a different version, just in case it messed up i could go back to a working version.
now at v18 of my map and i had a problem, went back to v17 and same problem, went back to v16 and same problem,
reinstalled cod4 and the mapping tools and still nothing
talk about buggy !
this is messed up ! |

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_qfe.070227-2300
No, because I have issues too, not as many, but still issues... and I'm running:

I'm thinking that im having issues because of vista :( |

Nice one Sniper. I renamed the file again and unchecked "Load last map on open" + "Load last project on open" and "Auto save" then tried to open my map....and it did!
Oh and my PC doesnt suck a bunch of anal cakes. I only built my high spec PC the end of last year.
Cheers again Sniper....thats one I owe ya! |

I can make the same room 6 times from scratch the same way and 4 of those attempts will have errors. Now at least I have someone else saying the program is buggy.
donbt give up, 1: email me you .map and i see if it compileable.
send to manickiller@hotmail.co.uk
2 Look on the IW forums for help ive posted stuff on there that helps with crashed out Radiant issues.
im a bit busy doing my map now to write it all over again so i see if i can find my text, but send me your map if you want me to try and compile what youve done so far.

Type RegEdit.
goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/IW
DELETE The Whole IW Folder (Right CLick Delete) Dont worrie, it will renew after you restart Rdiant (HONEST TRUSt ME)
Next OVer Write you Radiant BIN folder just copy the whole lot over again , then copy the new 1.1 update over to your bin folder.
I find doing this has helped me in the past when Radian and SP_Tools crash out. ( i do this every time Radiant crashes out or the SP_Tool & MP_Tools screws up it gets them going again.)
