Thanks manickiller. It's hard to give up making a map. I'll get frustrated with the map maker and quit vowing never to touch it again, then after a few multiplayer games of CoD4 I wanna make a map again.

I am both happy and sad knowing that im not the only one with problems here. After a certain point, on ALL my maps, when i do all the compile and sh*t, which goes suspiciously fast, when I run the map it either doesnt work or there are no updates. I dont know if this is the same problem as everyone else but if anyone knows the answer to this let me know

I had a craptastic issue earlier today, try starting radiant out of the compile tools, some settings only actually take affect through the compiler tools so if you just open the program it may open without issue.

I did try renaming it and still it didnt work. I have just stopped compiling and updating every hour and do it only occasionally and have had no problems YET.

Same thing happened to me it kept crashing all the time! BTW DO NOT CHECK LOAD LAST MAP in your pref. its a killer for Radient.
