the link is not working correctly - i only get half of the file
(the only things in the pk3 are a .bsp and a corrupt arena file....something weird with the site that is hosting it or a bad upload maybe)

one other thing that i noticed in the other copy (previous one that i had) is that your tdm spawn points are touching

try placing at least 6 tdm spawn points and at least 2 dm spawn points and see if that makes a difference

one thing that i wanted to mention is the reason that it reverts back to dm

dm is the default gametype, which is why every map must support it

but, when a map doesn't meet the minimum requirements (for example you tell the engine in your arena that your map is good-to-go for ctf, but you dont have anything in your map to support ctf) it will automatically revert to the default (dm) gametype

therefore, your map is for some reason NOT meeting the minimum requirements for the hq gametype [angryalien]

I give you an updated map and bsp (well pk3)

Well, I have many more spawn points now...

The strange thing is that, according to what I read, I meet the min reqs... Plus your correction in my gsc... Everything should be tip top...

I took the liberty of trying to put more than 1 hqradio to try if it was that. That didn't work either.

I also tried removing the radio in graydient and put them in the gsc without success.

I re-read the hq.gsc in pak1 of uo to check for min reqs...

Wondering...

well
i honestly have to say i don't know wtf is going on with your map

the spawns are correct and the .gsc is correct

i tried adding the information included in the mp_foy map to get your hq to work (they state the model and script_gameobjectname in the entity editor), but both to no avail

everything lookslike it should work without a problem...but nothing...it reverts right to dm like it is missing something

the uo gsc for hq doesnt appear to have any differences to the requirements for cod hq

i am sorry thedukehasyou..but i just cant figure this one out

anyone figure this out - i would be very interested to know what the requirements are to get hq to work in uo [angryalien]
