i noticed that there is a trigger_damage texture now. what i want to do is have the player get hurt and die when he moves into the trigger. do i use this trigger_damage texture or do i just use the regular trigger like in cod2 and give it a value and a key? edited on Feb. 8, 2008 03:39 am by TheArmy

Trigger_damage is not like that, it triggers when IT is damaged. Such as breaking things (walls, windows ect).

So how DO you get hurt from moving near something such as a fire. I have a trigger over the area I want, but what now?

I believe the trigger is called trigger_hurt. I believe you use the regular trigger and right click to make it a trigger_hurt? Don't quote me on that, I'm at work, lol.
