Hello,

For some reason (unknown at this moment) COD4 Radiant level editor is giving me an error every time I load models into my game.

Example: If I load (misc>prefabs) a model it gives me the error.

The Error message is as follows:
"FATAL ERROR:Cant find shader_bin/ps_3_0_50a409ee
GetLastError() = 3
An unrecoverable error has occurred. Would you like to edit preferences before exiting?"

Related Information: I started getting the errors last night (2/6/08) when I was playing around with loading the models from the 'prefabs' folder. The first time I received the error was when I loaded \blackout\bldg_fortress_01.map.
I highly doubt its Vista and believe this has some correlation with the error I had received.
I also have the 1.5 Patch installed.(I had the same error with 1.4)

Note:I searched the forum for people suffering the same issue but I only found 'similar' problems and the solutions provided did not help my situation.

I would appreciate any suggestions and help.

update mod tools to v1.1

That solved the issue. Thanks.

Well it doesn't solve it for me. I've updated Mod tools, but it still comes up with the same error.

it is either a different error or you did not update the modtools correctly
