It is seeming that the non-US languages of this might be the cause of some people's problems. Try reinstalling everything to C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare and see if it is able to detect it. If this does not work, then I'm not sure yet.

Crap I reinstalled CoD4

Installed 1.5

Unzipped modtools and updated it to 1.1

Every install is 100% default ( C:\Programs\Activision\CoD4)

Still I get the same error message ><

You first have to install patch 1.4 before you install patch 1.5!
