[crazy]
Sorry. I saw a question on this the other day and can't find it again. A fella was having light leakage the other day and someone recommended using the Point profile option under the File menu to have a red line show where the problem was. They said further to follow the red lines and correct the problem. My son created a map that was having a compile error so we tried that. All it so far is a piece of terrain with a skybox and a spawn point. When we selected Point Profile sure enough there WAS a red line. It went from a point slightly above the terrain to the base of the player so we assumed maybe the player was below the surface. Best we can tell , it's not. Any other ideas?

Did you close your skybox? Because the red line usually means an entity (in this case the spawn point) can touch the 'nothing' behind the skybox.

Caretaker, by close do you mean have a bottom to it? If so, then no we didn't put a bottom on it. I was just asking another user about his comment on placing sky texture on the SIX inside surfaces of the skybox. We only have 5 as there are only 4 sides and a top . How do you give it a bottom and how do you color it with sky without "painting" over your terrrain, somehow make it clear sky?

Loberster that dances,
The exact compile error isn't handy but it was something to the effect "Couldn't find blah blah map/mp/mp/d3dbs or something or other" LOL Another user told me that was more or less saying I had a compile error.

I"m off to try to figure out how to close a skybox. I really wish they'd add more of these questions that are asked over and over and over in the tutorial section (wiki) and save us a lot of time. That little "quirk" where people are losing their profiles? Infinity ward should warn us of that right away and instruct us to back up our config and map files. Anyway, I'll step down from my soapbox now. Appreciate any help, really.
