hi,


im in the process of making a new map, and i've got some geoometry in radiant, ive also got a csv file a csv load file and a gsc file, which i think are ok

when i try to compile bsp with fast lightiing the only box ticked, its goes all fine until it gets to 'bulding lightmap groups' then it crashes

i had some prefabs in my map which had portals, shadows n such, i've taken them out and it doesnt make any difference

any ideas?

Possibly a memory related problem? You could try closing as much as possible before compiling a map. Also make sure you have latest updates for your computer.

im not running anything else, ive closed down evrything i can in the taskmanager and it still crashes

any updates in particular? do i need all the dotnet fixes etc and the other rubbish you need for COD 2?
