who said it would be from COD, i wanted stef maps for CoD 2 but in order to do that with the tool rnr_woogie gave i have to compile a bsp to vmf but that is only possible with HL2 and not with cod or stef. (allthough some dude made a tool but you got to have an apple for that)

Don't really want to add fuel to this, but, there was a bsp to map converter that had some CoD support. However, if I remember right, it gave unworkable maps - multiple brushes overlapping, and volumeless and infinite sized brushes - in the same way you can get from overclipping or using the csg functions the wrong way.
The only thing this program was good for is getting the dimensions of the original map, so you don't need to constantly take screenshots and viewpos values when you wanted to manual rebuild the map for a new game

No idea where this program is now. Any links I found that might have been for it are long dead

It only transfers the structure..no prefabs, no nothing. I tried it on MOHAA .bsp's but won't work.

Sort of on the subject of this...

Is there a chance someone could develop a parser that'll convert between CoD1, Cod2 and CoD4 map files?
CoD4 will load up CoD1 maps pretty much directly - just need to retexture once loaded, and delete the entities list beforehand, but it could be handy if a converter could caulk or case everything except common/tool textures, and filter out entities the game can't use.
CoD1 will load CoD4 maps with a bit of notepad work - have to delete all the lightmap parts. Meshes have to be redone in CoD1's format though, which will be the hardest part - but will be great use for the few CoD1 mappers left, because of CoD4radiant's more extensive mesh tools
