Hi All,
I've been searching the forums for a couple hours, and Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction on what to search for?
I'm trying to place a prefab that has a basement into my map,
and when I enter the map and try to get into that basement, my terrain is there. So I need to cut a hole out of the terrain, right? I'm Also looking at putting some tunnels in down the road, so I will also need openings in the terain for that.
I'm hoping that I dont have to redo the terrain and build around the prefab.
Any help or Idea's of what I can search for would be great!

Select the floor and use the clipping tool to cut.

I tried that.... It does not seem to work on the terrain!
When I select the terrain then set my clipping points and hit Shift +Enter It dont make the cut and it deselects the terrain but leaves the 2 clipping points where they were.
Am I doing it wrong?

select the terrain you want to cut, then press V.

you'll see a buch of colored dots on the terrain.

hold shift and click on a line of verts 9the dots) and they will turn blue. click again and the blue line will change direction.

make sure the line of blue verts is higlighted in the direction you want to cut the terrain, then hold Shift + CTRL and press X to split the terrain at that line.

repeat until you have the terrain cut the way you need it, then delete the terrain you dont need.

Ahhh... I thought it might have something to do with verts, I just dont know what all the key commands are for yet,
