ok here's my story -

i start multiplayer, join a server, play a round, map changes, i get disconnected...

i go to the server list, refresh (quick) and try to join the same server...no luck. i try to join another - no luck

wtf.

sometimes i cant even connect to a server

and this is the only game i own that has serious lag issues even wen graphics are reduced to defaults

why is this happening?

as i said cod4 is the ONLY game i have that is doing this...all my other multiplayer games have great latency and dont lag watsoever

so..if anyone knows how i can fix this plz fill me in

ps - ive already forwarded my ports to cod4, even tried turning off the firewall all together, no luck there

I have the same problem too and I don't have a permanent fix for it. But if that ever happens, don't click the disconnect button. Instead, press ~ and type

/reconnect

Keep typing that until you get connected.

wat about lag during airstrikes and lag in general

seriously..this is the only game i lag in

even without a firewall i lag
