Since radiant for cod 4 is a lot more friendly for me. I started mapping a little more seriously. I reading Tutorial here and here and if i'm in real trouble i ask my friend to help me but i try to bug less as possible

I'll show you the little piece of work i have done so far. What i want to know is if there is a better way to do it.

My main question is. Is it ok to take many brush different size and Weld them each together and when i'm done. Start cleaning up with the advanced patch editing.

The picture i take is my rought brush that i'll start cleaning with the APE.I want to know if i go ahead some trouble( Looking wise etc ).

edit: My skybox is off the filter. I got one :D

If you asking to make your terrain out of brushes then thats a no go. However, your terrain looks god with the exception that it looks very dense. I hope you know how to portal outdoors...

Ok Sorry i use the wrong word. They are brush that i convert into terrain patch. Only the bridge on that map is made of brush so far.

So what's about the portal outdoors. What they do and why do we need them ? how dense map need portal and pls define ''dense'' in radiant.
