Make certain none of your mirrors can "see" another mirror.

To make a working door model, first make a brush, then make it a function door, then make it a model.

You can also make the model and change it's class to a func_door, but I don't reccomend it. You can also just have the model, which is a func_static move by movers bound to it. The first way I think is the easiest.

i have doors that i made that work, but im talkin about the doors in the new folder place. those doors are premade and i cant make slide... U know the objects that have blue wireframes?? those ones i want to make slide... and when u say func_door on those, it says failed to make entity.

And the mirror thing, i have just one mirror not 2. i can actually see the reflection if i stand right on the side looking acroos the face of it. but if i move out more or in front of it ,its black. I had working before but im confsed now.

with the doors, make it a door FIRST, then make it a model

1)draw a brush
2)(select it)right click and make a func_door
3)(select it)right click and choose new model
4)choose model

now you can change it's attributes as if it were a door, but it should be the shape of the model you selected.

Not sure about the mirror thing. Sounds like you have an extra brush overlapping it somehow, but I don't know for certain.

Don't know if this will be any help concerning the mirrors, but:

1)Make a brush
2)texture it with any texture you want, preferably a metal one with no detail on it.
3)Select one face that you want to be the mirror and texture it with the mirror texture from the washroom folder.

Finally play around with some lights in front of the brush or above it. Instant mirror. The only problem I have had with this is getting the flashlight to reflect and illuminate of it.
