what is meant by that?
as example that would mean
i have a folder in the usermaps called mp_woodland
inthere are 2 files mp_woodland.ff and mp_woodland_load.ff
after my expierence, thats it.
and you're saying i need to zip the mp_woodland folder lying in the usermaps folder? what the..?
or is that thought just for distribution/uploading somewhere?

im stuck on the problem:

made the above told steps
started a private server (yes, port 28960 is opened)
map doesnt show up in the ingame "start new server" screen
i load a different map and load my map over the console. looks like /map mp_woodland
it loads and i can play it. but if ppl want to connect they're gettin an error msg like "the file mp_woodland.ff is different from the server" any solutions?

I've done exactly this and when i go to my server to play the map it says mp_tunnels.ff is different from server

Any ideas?

I have followed this tutorial and everything went well until time for map load, I get windows error messages that say the loadscreen image and the compass image cannot load, and the game shuts down. I have gone over everything with a fine tooth comb, any thoughts?

Did 1.5 change the way these files need to be packaged

if you made the map and compiled it ,you will have ff ff_load right?
well if you have the csv ,gsc,and put a csv loadscreen with
your gsc in the cod4 dir, cod4/raw/maps/mp
when you make and update ,remake your ff file
you will only need ff file to load to your server
{if you add ff_load it will loop the down load and not work,it dont need it }

csv in zone_source ,{your assets} cod4/zone_source

gsc in mp {player type} cod4/raw/maps/mp

csv in mp {load default background} cod4/raw/maps/mp
!!
just copy it from mp_test csv from cod4/raw/maps/mp

update zone make ff file
upload just the ff file to your server in cod/usermaps/yourmap folder

custom loadscreen ... not there yet give me time

in your compile tools check use custom command line type
[ +set fs_game mods/customMaps ]
it will make a missing assets csv just open copy ...
then open cod4/zone_source/mp_your.csv and paste the missing in ,then in your compile tools update zone file
and save then make ff file
