ok just to make this clear i have made a notepad file with the script in it. (the one from the top of this page).

i saved the notpad file with the requred script as...

c:\progfiles\activision\cod4\raw\vision\mp_highschool.vision

i noticed that jackc1990 states "rawfile"\vision\mapname

does this mean i should also have a rawfile folder or is tht just raw?

so in general my vision file is exactly the same as my maps name but with ".vision" on the end

could someone who has solved this prob do me a screen shot of the file in the actual folder so i can see if its like mine saves alot of back and forth explaining cause i think the more i try and explain the more im gona mess it up and you guys on this site have helped me a Shed load.

When you click update zone file, add ALL of this:

rawfile,vision/mp_iced.vision

obviously adding your map name.

this is a screen capture of what has been done as you will see last entry on csv is vision file i have lso shown the vision folder and that its in raw and the error thats haunting my dreams.

anyhoo have a look and if you can spot what ive done wrong let me know

ok i have found the issue...

the problem was windows hidding known file extensions so even though i was typing .vision it was actualy comming out as .vision.txt not good for me...

now i can actualy see the .txt and can now change it to .vision...

dam i dumb some times and dont agree with me lol
