I followed this tutorial i found on this site:

But somehow when i try to blow up the wall nothing happens i dont know what iam doing wrong. I think i followed the tutorial down to the last letter.

Ok so i made the wall which i want to blow up, made it a script_brushmodel and gave it a script_exploder : 30
then i made the exploded wall and made those brushed a
script_brushmodel and also gave it script_exploder : 30 and targetname : exploder, Then put my trigger over the wall and made it trigger->damage and gave it script_exploder : 30
This is what it looks like it radiant:






Is there maybe a special way to blow it up or did i do something wrong?

I havent made an exploder for cod4 yet, so I am unsure if there is a problem, Ill look into more later today when I have more time.

I have not bought the game so I have not messed with new editor, but this tutorial helped me a lot for UO.

it is very detailed and from looks of it sounds like it would be the same for Cod4. I know from experience even a single mis-spelling and it doesnt work. Plus with the more pieces you do it becomes harder to keep it all straight.

I looked at what you posted and did not notice anything different from the tutorial you linked to so Im a little baffled as of right now.
Will see if i can figure something out for ya.

works fine for me i cod4 mod tools.

does anyone knows how to do that the wall will be broken but with a bomb and not simply with gun shot ?

if someone can explain how to put a bomb to pickup and just plant it on the place where is suppose to brake the wall.

Yeah i get that it works fine but why doesnt it work for me.
What am i doing wrong does it have something to do with me not having a .gsc file.

it does say you need a to load main in a gsc for the earlier versions so I would think it would be the same. As for having something more explosive do it, you should be able to open the entity editor, if the same as Radiant/Graydient, and check which damages actually trigger it. IE rocket, grenade, bash, bullet and such.

Ok
I'am not sure if i made it correctly but i made a mp_mapname.gsc and placed it in raw/maps/mp
This is what i put in it cause this is what it says in the tut for exploding cars:
main()
{
maps\mp\_load::main();
}

But if i leave this like that when i try to compile reflections i get a script

runtime error
(see console for details)
cannot switch on undefined

so when i open console it says like a 1000 error of sound file not found.

So i just skipped that part and and compiled the rest. I was able to play the map but the wall didnt explode.
As for the dmg it only left proj_no and explosion_no on.

hello,
i am reasking my question about triggering the explosion,
in trigger damage entity window i see, PISTOL_NO, RIFLE_NO, PROJ_NO, EXPLOSION_NO, SPLASH_NO, MELLE_NO.

i checked pistol_no, riffle_no, splash_no, melee_no,
menning thr only thing that will make the trigger is proj_no, and explosion_no.

i can trigger it with RPG but i have a problem triggering it with c4.

what am i doing wrong, and what is the !easy, !medium, !hard, !deathmatch trigger mean ?
