Okay, I did a test room to see if it works. Works in Single Player just fine. I converted from sp to mp, each side has 3 spawns. I go through the process and run the map. It starts to load, then goes directly to FFA Backlot. WTH!!! Anyone know what I am doing wrong, and is it a easy fix?

load up the game. and pull down the console and type
/map mp_yourmapname.

it will most likely load another map, so do it again and your map should load. I have had luck with putting my ff's in a folder called usermaps.

so create callofduty4/usermaps/yourmapname/mapname.ff and then when i type /map mp_mymapname it loads up the first time.

Tried that option and I get the same thing. I did everything that the tutorial video said to do 8(

Your map is rotating because you dont have any TDM spawn points in your map.

This is the same situation i'm in . Although i completed a test map with foyleman's video. That all worked correctly. I created my own map and the "bar" on the "loading screen" reaches full, and above continuely states "awaiting" and then rotates to next map.

Any ideas?

see if you can open the console and read the messages. the console may tell you what's going on.

This question has been solved in the FAQ topic:
When you start up your game without Compile tools, just type in '/sv_maprotation map mp_yourmapname' when you start with compile tools you should be fine.

tried that, finally worked, but now it is stuck in a endless loop to restart map as a DM instead of TDM. It will load the map, but will not go into the map, the load screen just loops. Any suggestions?

it goes to a loop for me too, while i do have all the damn spawn too, been lookin for hours still no solution :/

it loads 40% and restarts loading...

-i got global_intermission
-i got mp_tdm_spawn = 10+ times
-i got mp_tdm_spawn_allies_start = 5-6times
-i got mp_tdm_spawn_axis_start = 5-6 times

i even added prefab mp_tdm_spawn_obj_allies and axis each once too, still same thing ...

i added dm_spawn = 3tiems now, still no diffrence, it just wont load the map, anything? tell me if u want to me show u anything...

in console it says :

loaded zone "mp_dust3"
map_rotate .. and it reloads 40% and again... :/
