Foyleman and some others already posted some messages about it. ALWAYs run all cod4 mapping tools as a administrator in VISTA. but that won't always help. I'm running vista myself and noticed some problems with running the tools. This aint a 100% fix for some of you but it might help alot of ypu like i did for me. in windows go the the BIN directory of the cod4 mapping tools and set all mapping tool programs to run in compatibility mode of windows XP service pack2. Just simply select the program, right click and go to properties. then select the tab compatibility and click on the option "run this program in compatibility mode:" and select windows xp service pack2. you need to do this for the following files. in the /BIN directory: asset_manager coD4EffectsEd cod4map cod4rad64 CoD4Radient converter linker_pc MoDBuilder and in /bin/CoD4CompileTools: CoD4CompileTools i hope this help to some off you. Just remember, this might not work for all off you. And always run the programs in administrator mode
