Ok, I made the .gsc file. And I'm positive I have all the spawn points because I just piled all of the spawn points on my map. But it still just goes straight to mp_backlot.
Could the reason be that I don't have a .csv file for the map?

I doubt it, you can't have a fastfile with no csv, it'll say 'couldn't find maps/blah.gsc' but that's ebcause it's not an SP map.

Are you very sure you have each of:

mp_tdm_spawn
mp_tdm_spawn_allied_start
mp_tdm_spawn_axis_start

?

you dont have player start in there too do you, thats single player spawn,
i made my own gsc, and also have editor checked to create the csv

Creating a Simple .gsc File (written for CoD2, but pretty similar)

i have had that "Skip to Backlot" or "Skip to [other map" already before, but i was able to load it via console. this time it didn't work (i tried to add domination gametype). now i have the following spawns in my map:

mp_tdm_spawn
mp_tdm_spawn_allied_start
mp_tdm_spawn_axis_start

mp_dom_spawn
mp_dom_spawn_allied_start
mp_dom_spawn_axis_start

mp_dm_spawn

global_intermission

and it's working now - thx :)
