Some people have had trouble loading models into their map. when you try, radiant crashes. I have had this problem myself. The answer is to make a raw folder inside the xmodel folder and copy the shader_bin folder into the raw folder. So

raw/xmodel/raw/shader_bin

I have also had to do this for my prefabs. So i have copied the shader_bin folder three times and placed it inside a folder named raw and placed that folder in about three different places. And now i don't have any more problems.

ummm i dont understand it (my english is not too good so... ) can you just type how it should looks? it must be for prefabs/misc_model i think can you just type it like game_path/xxx/xxx/xxx or somthing easier to understand? thx ;P

Ok thanks Cybershot!!! I am posting it to the FAQ sticky now.
nullFew tips for coding.
1. Keep the script as short as possible.
2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out.
3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read.

These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes.

look in program files\activision\call of duty 4\raw for a folder called shader_bin

make a new folder called raw in
program files\activision\call of duty 4\raw\ xmodel

and paste the shader bin into that folder. so it should look like this

program files\activision\call of duty 4\raw\ xmodel\raw\shader_bin

Ok... I tried it and it didn't work... I did copy the shader_bin folder into the raw folder that i made in xmodel. It still didn't work.

thx but it still dont work for me... hmm i will wait for the update for radiant with languages and meyby then they will fix this too (my CoD4 dont work now because there is different font in english version that i have in my ;P )

i also made a raw folder inside the raw folder and put the shader_bin in there.

so modern warfare\raw\raw\shader_bin

i kept getting this error so i kept adding this file structure until i didn't get it anymore

same here. I did exactl what you said, and now it says it cant find a shader of some sort. IU looked for the shader in the shader_bin folder and I found it! but it still doesnt work...

you guys must be doing something wrong. because it works for me and others that have done it.

are you copying the entire shader_bin folder and all it's contents and putting it in the raw folder? becuase i had to add it to my xmodel, and my prefabs to get my prefabs to load. i think i have done it in three places. I would keep trying because i know it works.
