If you're using Vista, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me that you are running all the apps that have to do with the mod tools in compatibility mode for windows xp, and that you are running them as an administrator

OK.... Here is a noob question so give me a real answer not a smart ass answer. what is the directory the cod4 folder or the main folder ????? Help me with that cuz im getting this error too

Try it... put it in one of them.. if it doesn't work, it's probably the other.

Error during initialization: default.menu file not found. This is a default menu that you should have. thats my error anyone want to help me ?

Ok, what am I doing wrong? I am clicking the circled option and it is just launching the normal game before it freezes! Budda*

This might be a strange question... but... WHY are you trying to run the mp_tool.exe file? From the read me: gamepath]\bin\CoD4CompileTools\CoD4CompileTools.exe [gamepath]\bin\MoDBuilder.exe These are the only two applications that you should have shortcuts to, or run directly from explorer. The other exe files not listed above are not intended to be ran directly because they require special working directory and/or command line options. CoD4CompileTools.exe contains propper icons to launch those applications.
