yeah this part:
Using the Advanced Terrain Editor ( press Y ), choose alpha, flatten, and with your slider bars chose the correct settings for you area.

On the Selected Terrain, Alt+Left Mouse click is erase the texture, Alt+Right Click to to show the texture. I personally erase the entire selection then show the areas I wish.

when i do alt-leftclick or alt-rightclick .. just nothing happens.. and i putted it on alpha and flatten and the inner and outer circle thingies are right too.I did it with cod2 mod tools sometimes so i don't know what i do wrong :O

Make sure you make a simple terrain patch (made mine 15 x 15 for texting) and make it a non-blendable texture then copy that (space bar) and pull it right above that and make that texture blendable texture (decal)

Make sure you have the blendable texture selected ONLY!

Make sure your inner radius is lower then your outer radius

Make sure your amplitude is not 0 make it 1 to test

check flatten > allow soft selection > alpha

Hold alt + leftclick= fill (move the mouse around in circles to speed it up)
Hold alt + rightclick= erase (move the mouse around in circles to speed it up)
