You need to give them over to Foyleman or batistabr. I told bati about this post...
nullFew tips for coding.
1. Keep the script as short as possible.
2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out.
3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read.

These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes.

Well let's start with 2 very easy ones:

How to make a ladder:

In this tutorial i'll show you how to make a ladder.

Step 1: Create a ladder from brushes (it can also be a wall or some sort).

Step 2: Go to "Textures" --> "Usage" --> "Tools"

Step 3: Find the "Ladder" texture.

Step 4: Draw out a brush with this ladder texture like shown on this picture:

How to make invisible walls

This tutorial will show you how to make invisible walls, these "walls" are used to prevent players from getting to certain spots - like going under the map.

Never use CAULK to create invisible walls

Step 1: Go to "Textures" --> "Usage" --> "Tools"

Step 2: Find the "Clip" texture and click on it.

Step 3: Draw out a brush with the clip texture where you wan't it to block a player, in this screenshot I placed a clip on the right wall, from now on a player cannot jump over this wall anymore (unless he can jump over the clip, so make sure clipped walls are very high).

Step 4: Place 3 more clip brushes on the other walls, or whatever you want to clip.

Step 5: You can hide the clip in your 2D and 3D camera view by pressing "F" on your keyboard, then uncheck the box "Clip" - it will now hide every clip texture in your map.

Well if you want to restrain a player from going outside a map you will use Clip.

But for like parts of the maps where the player can't see you want to caulk it so it doesn't have to draw any textures that the person doesn't need to.

How to create doors and windows using the Clipper tool

In this tutorial I will show you the basics of the clipper tool, you can use the tool to create windows and doors but also to create things like destroyed walls, just mess around with it a little bit.

Step 1: Draw out a brush that will represent our wall, I made this wall a 128 units in height.

Step 2: With your wall selected, press "X" on your keyboard and click on the position you wan't to "cut" your wall, let me help you with this screenshot (when you have clicked a blue dot will apear):

Step 3: Click again on another position on your wall to cut it, note that I put the second blue dot right above the first to get a straight cut. Don't worry when suddenly half of your wall dissapears, simply read step 4.

Step 4: Your wall has vanished? No. Simply press SHIFT + ENTER to finish the cut, the wall that vanished before is now back and has been cut.

Step 5: We still need to cut the other side of the wall to make an opening big enough for a player to walk through. Cut another piece out of the wall as shown on the screenshot, don't forget to press SHIFT + ENTER :

Step 6: Now deselect every brush by pressing "ESC" on your keyboard, then select the piece that you cut out of the wall, you can select a brush by SHIFT + LEFT MOUSE BUTTON . Drag this brush upwards like shown on the picture, you will now notice the shape of a doorway.

Step 7: Now that you know how to cut pieces out of the wall, lets cut 2 more that will represent our windows.

Step 8: When you have done this, select the 2 pieces and delete them by pressing "Backspace" on your keyboard.

Step 9: Give it a nice texture and this is what it should look like:

I recommend creating ledges for the windows and doors though as they look ugly without them.
