With the release of CoD4 Map and Mod Tools just his past week, there has been a lot of new forum posts. If you didn't know, you should try and check out the CoD4 Wiki that Infinity Ward has. It can answer a lot of your questions. Here is a link! Infinity Ward Call of Duty 4 Wiki
nullFew tips for coding. 1. Keep the script as short as possible. 2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out. 3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read. These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes.

Hmmm, Matsen, they must of moved it or took down the whole Wiki, That kind of sucks :/ A lot of good information to lose.

If I remember rightly, IW "tried" to convert their SMF forum over to phpBB which screwed up the forum. They must have done something to the wiki as well.

They removed the hard drive(s) that all the stuff like the wiki was stored on, and basically only transferred over the usernames to a new forum. I don't think we'll get any of it back any time soon, if at all.

So? Modsonline is the biggest mapping wiki going, and lets face it all the info that was on that wiki is now in alot of mappers heads, best place for it.

Yeah- to be honest, the Wiki and script reference were pretty inaccurate in places, I'm sure the community will be able to whip up some stuff to cover what we've lost.
