Okay is anyone able to knock up a nice quick and simple tutorial as to how you go about testing your map including the compile process

So far I am having absolutely no luck with various crashes and i'm not sure what I exactly need to get from the editor to the game as simply as possible, and the wiki is not much help at this point hence my request

lolz, its really difficult and this tutorial would be great ... please :D

first step is to compile the mp_test map and see if that works.

the same should work for your own custom maps, but it also might need cod4 specific entities for it to work. refer to mp_test for these.
