I think amishthunder deserves a well done at least.. You must see that the comments are partly jelousy, for some reason a lot of people download the tools with the 'i gotta release the first map' idea on mind.. I myself couldn't care if i was first or last. As long as im happy with the project then thats all that matter..

So well done, i havn't had time to play it but it look good for what i saw on the screenies (all we need is nightvision now)

mp_subway_beta was not supposed to be in that file, computer crashed before packing and it was an honest mistake. I have verified the correct files and am uploading another version. I apologize.

I did the exact instructions as far as creating the 2 folders & then tried starting a server using the console command (did'nt work) so i thought maybe i missed something, wen't to one of the servers mentioned that is running the map, dl'ed the map, got into that server & got to play the map BUT when i tried to launch my own server using the console command, "it still did'nt work" and i followed the instructions step by step???

C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\usermaps\mp_subway

make the folders....put the .ff files in there!

start game

launch mod warfare

start new server

once started type /map mp_subway in the console.

/unsubscribes

Alternatively you could try to follow the indication of this post from the infity ward community forums.

It should* work like for any of the CoD serie game. Someone can certainly confirm this for you.

sorry mate but your final version crashed our server with the extreme mod....i couldnt even get it running on a listen server.

what i dont understand is this

theres a big problem with inserting models etc with the editor as the tools is giving the incorrect path to the raw folders. everyione is getting the same problems

if you have beta tested it did you not report this error to iw or was you just making sure you got the first map out ?? i thought beta testers were there to test and report back to iw especially with a error as big and widespread as this.. everyone has it ???
