Does anyone know what program was used to make the models in CoD4? was it Maya 7.0 or something cuz I've seen a few models that i'm unhappy with, so I'll quit yellin about it and make em better. any help is appreciated,

cool. thanks

@Batistablr, it's not gonna be a new gun or a remodeled gun or anything like that, it'll prolly just be some more detailed models/skins for little things like cans, cars, paintbuckets, waterbottles, stuff like that.

but where can I download Maya7.0?

you have you pay for Maya... you shouldn't be able to download it for free. It cost like $900.
nullFew tips for coding.
1. Keep the script as short as possible.
2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out.
3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read.

These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes.

ouch... exactly why do they think they need so much money for a program?

anyway, I'm probably screwed over now. Maybe I could use a different free program (I sound like a moocher =P) and find a plugin to convert it to the maya save suffix thingy. 0.o

They charge you so much because they know everyone is going to end up buying it for Call of Duty 4 [wink][tongue]

You would want $800 dollars for your program that is ten years in the making. Wouldn't you?

ahem...."Autodesk suggested retail pricing is US$1,999* for Maya 2008 Complete (Standalone) and US$6,999* for Maya 2008 Unlimited (Standalone)."

Still.....thats better than studio tools which retails around $64,000 i believe :)
